Discovery to Undock from Station
ＳＴＳ-102と遠征隊はＩＳＳ（ｲﾝﾀｰﾅｼｮﾅﾙ･ｽﾍﾟｰｽ･ｽﾃｰｼｮﾝ）に残っていた。本日、ＣＳＴ時間午後８時３２分（０時３２分ＧＭＴ［月］）最終的なハッチの閉鎖が行われ、遠征隊のｽﾃｰｼｮﾝ滞在の終了が記された。現在、切り離しの準備中である。ディスカバリーは本日のＣＳＴ時間午後１０時３２分（４時３２分ＧＭＴ時間［月］）に切り離しの予定である。パイロットのジム･キリ-は切り離しを行ない、地球への帰還の前に、１時間にわたる軌道の前進基地の周りのフライアラウンド（点検飛行）を行う。
The STS-102 and Expedition One crews have left the International Space Station. Final hatch closure occurred today at 8:32 p.m. CST (02:32 GMT Monday), and it marked the end of the Expedition One crew's stay onboard the station. Preparations for undocking are now under way. Discovery is slated to undock today at 10:32 p.m. CST (04:32 GMT Monday). Pilot Jim Kelly will perform the undocking and then make hour-long fly-around of the orbital outpost before beginning the journey home.

近頃のＮＡＳＡがすることは奇妙である。あなたを驚かせる。これが一体何なのか言うことができないし、手がかりもない。これは宇宙のごみなのか、しかしそれなら何故ＮＡＳＡはそれを再生できないのか？
Thought you just might like this one. It was took from NASA's S-band still
frame downlink. This picture was snapped by me when STS 102 and the ISS
were undocking.
You will notice
how close they still are to one another. At first I thought possible ice chunk
or debris, but after the two craft were far away from each other Nasa starts
running replays of the undocking. Thats when I noticed that the same still
pictures were now deleted totally from their replay. Funny how all of a sudden
they are gone.
When this picture
came on my monitor, I snapped the picture into my computer the second it
appeared. Just as suddenly, Nasa took it off, never to be seen again. I never
saw Nasa take a picture off the air so fast. If I did not have my
finger right on my mouse button, we would not even be talking about it, it
happened just that fast.
Strange how Nasa does things these days. Makes you wonder. I can't begin to tell you what this is, I do not have a clue. Could be space junk, but then why doesn't Nasa replay it?
